My daughter had recently joined Normanby Primary school, and I felt that as a School governor I could make a positive contribution to her education.
Like many other parents, I wanted to make sure that our children are getting the best quality and environment they can during their years at primary school. If as a parent governor I am able to put some innovative ideas, feedback and views from my own personal experiences and other par-ents to help change or point out to the other staff who are in charge of these areas, then this can only be a positive step to ensure the school are aware of any problems and what ways/ideas can help improve the school and issues discussed.
