Parents who are considering applying for a place at Normanby Primary School are welcome to visit the school, please call the school office to make an appointment. We look forward to meeting you.

Nursery Admissions

If you would like to apply for a place in our Nursery we encourage you to register your child for a place as soon as you can. You can do this by contacting the school office who will take your contact details and your child’s name and date of birth. You will be contacted approximately three months before your child turns three to check you still require the place and to offer you the opportunity to look around our setting with your child. At this time, we will have a one to one meeting to get to know you and your child and find out more about their interests, medical needs and stage of development.

30 hour provision

Normanby Primary School offers 30 hour provision within our Nursery setting.

Please note the 30 hour session times do not include the lunchtime period.

Nursery Lunchtime provision is from 11.40am until 12.25pm with an additional charge of £2.50 per child per day as additional staff are employed to supervise lunch.

Your child can have a school meal at a cost of £2.35 per day (£2.40 per day as of 03/03/25) or you can choose to provide your child with a packed lunch and a drink.

In addition we can offer wrap around care from 08.00-08.40 and 3.25-5:30 (Friday until 5pm) for children attending our 30 hour provision.

The costs are as follows:

Morning Club

£3.50 from 8am

£2.50 from 8.30am

(Additional cost of 50p if breakfast is required)

After School Club

£8 Monday-Thursday

£6 Fridays

If you receive qualifying benefits you may be entitled to free meals for your child. Nursery Times for 30 hour provision: Nursery opens at 8.40am, children should arrive between 8.40am and 08.55 am, and finishes at 3.25pm, children should be collected between 3.10am and 3.25pm
