Y5 Greece
The children in Y5 have been enjoying learning about ancient and modern Greece. They have been finding out about the array of black and red-figure pottery created by potters living in Ancient Greece. After studying fables in English, the children chose their favourite as a stimulus for their own black-figure vase designs. Popular choices included ‘The Hare and the Tortoise’, ‘The Dolphin and the Monkey’ and ‘The Heron and the Wolf’. We are looking forward to making them in the next week!
