We have been reading the traditional story ‘The Little Red Hen’. The children have looked carefully at the different characters in the story and, in groups of four, recreated the story in front of their peers. We used expanded noun phrases to describe the different characters, and for our final piece we recreated the story with a new title and four new characters.
