In Y5, the children have been learning about Greek warfare. The children found out that warfare was a normal part of life in Ancient Greece, as the different states often battled against each other. The children used information texts to research the equipment needed by a Greek soldier entering battle. They have started to draft their own information texts and will continue to edit and improve their writing before producing a ‘polished version’ next week.
