Parent and Carer Engagement Events

At Normanby Primary School, parental engagement is a priority and effective through participation and attendance at a range of events such as: musical performances in church and school, celebration assemblies, sports events, open days, and curriculum events.

In this way, we can share important messages and information with parents.  There is clear plan for parental engagement events across school and there is a high uptake for these events.

Our parent and carer events are shared with our school community through a number of communication methods and celebrated through our weekly Feel Good Friday newsletters.

Whole School Events

Our Community Health Fayre, which is held every year in the Summer Term, invites representatives from local groups and health agencies into school to provide our familes with information about local add national activities for adults and children.

Music Performances

Our children are so proud to share their musical talents with our school community and our parents and carers really enjoy these events.

Safer Internet Day

Safer Internet Day is dedicated to promoting online safety. Each year, the focus is on addressing online issues and themes that directly resonate with the experiences of young people in the digital realm. At Normanby Primary School, we welcome parents and carers into school to work alongside external agencies such as the police, our digital ambassadors and pupils, to raise awareness of online safety.
