Our School Day

The school doors are opened to children and parents shortly before 9.00am. Children and parents wait in the playgrounds until members of staff open the doors. Parents and carers are encouraged to use our drop in sessions if they wish to discuss areas of concern with staff. These are shared via our termly newsletters. There is no formal supervision from staff until the doors are opened. School equipment, including climbing walls, wooden activity trails or other movable items must not be used without staff supervision. It should not be used by children under the supervision of their parents or carers. Registration is from 9.00 to 9.10, after which official teaching time begins. Arrivals after 9.10am are recorded as late. Break times will normally be in the playgrounds, weather permitting, and on the field in warm, dry weather.
